At least the hardcore nerdgamers are mostly confined to speed clearing (in PvE). Lets just hope it doesn't spread.

I was just checking out the sell threads and to my disbelief there are multiple posts....wts Ghastly Summon Stones...and at 5kea no less. Imo this is one of the more creative "scams" to come out of GW in recent times.

So im sitting in guildhall....
and for no reason im getting spammed by a little certain someone .....
I assume its cause i posted in this Forum regarding the idiocy of asking for stones, as this was completly outta the blue.

Decided to tell him to have fun with his Uw Pug groups and tossed him on ignore
Thought it was a riot how his name had skillz in it though..

Its sad really the amount of Just flat out rude MoFo's that are playing.

Stuff like this just reinforces the idea that 7 heroes is good. The whole thing just discourages people from getting into groups so they have two choices. To either play alone or try and find a guild that is going to work for them. Then what do you do when your guild dies? I just can't believe the PUG situations that are taking place now. Very sad.

So the sad players that are actually using the whole stones thing are on the forums...they are just to scared to actually say anything so they dont get flamed since they know its a horrible idea

The more pathetic thing is this player, looked my stats up in guru forum, found a post where I said my In Game Name, then went to find me in game to type those things before I simply hit the ignore button.

true, people who dont play the game long have to find a good guild which stays alive for a long time, and having people to actually join with

i joined several guilds, but a few werent very multiplayer guilds, or did NM, just HM or elite areas
and the rest i joined just died

7 heroes would indeed improve the part with fun and playing, cuz heroes dont ask to show them stuff like obsidian shards or certain stones or something
actually, they ask for nothing

be honest, where can you really find people (in gw) who are nice and like to join for fun or something?
well, i cant find much nice people, just a few, but in my experience, the nice people leave gw, or play for half an hour and leave for a few days again
or they finish up their titles and rarely play gw anymore

i hope this is a hint for anet to make playing more fun

also, you cant do anything about the people who wanna see rare items before they let you join
unless anet makes no items rare anymore, but that would kill a part of the game too....

They know well it's not a horrible idea for them - they know well they make good profits from selling things which should normally be near worthless. But this is absurd - they want people to pay big to join them - complete utter bs.
But since obviously having teh stones has nothing to do with players skill, I find it strange that players themselves don't just ignore the rtards who demand them and create their own pugs without that requirement. Seriously it shouldn't be that hard, it's not HA, it's PvE for Dhuum's sake.

One thing you forget, some people refuse and do not like to use the hero and henchies. So your demand for 7 heros will not do anything besides make PvE more of a joke.
There will always be people asking for others to join there group, some people enjoy the company of other players. Me I can careless, heros are good for sometings and horrible for others. Same goes for players.

read the other topic about GW:B, you'll see enough good reasons why 7 heroes would be good
the people who dont wanna play with others will now use h/h, so no differences at all if h/h changes into heroes only

it will change it a bit, of course there's too many people dumb like that, that'll never change, but it would help more people than what it is now

what i was talking about was the current community, which will go elitism with this bulls..... nonsense, which is far worse than 7 heroes, as that would actually let all people have their chances, and the ones who want with teams, go with teams, again.... no difference

soon runners will ask at least 10 ecto, well, THEN i'll go to ascalon and help people getting to lions arch and such for free (fighting, not running

and i understand your stand point about people buying and trading stones/shards... Fact is, we cant stop this. If someone is willing to spend money on buying stones / shards just to get into a run, then sure let em go for it. However, you must understand, there are people out there who are exp and have sufficient amounts of stones and shards. Not all pugs will lie about their exp, thus this method is flawed yes but hey at least it filters out some of the bad ones...

meaning the "bad ones" arent allowed to play the certain places
i know we cant stop it, BUT, its not multiplayer friendly
and gw is as far as i know a multiplayer game, cuz thats why these games are "online", not to find the "elite" players, but to play with others, and nice people are best of course

this way is a rather heartless way to find people to do stuff with, and an excuse to not give the ones not as good a chance
